Copy and learn

Copy means and also portray faithfully transcribe, reproduce, duplicate faithfully. Means imitate, repeat words, and similar attitudes of others, repeat the concepts, the manner, style, and similar to an author, making them their own.

Learning means taking possession, to acquire a range of knowledge through study, exercise, observation. Who learns very very practical.

In my case - with respect to concepts of cascading style sheets, Cascading Style Sheets, CSS, and towards the source of my current study is from the manual of Gianluca Troiani entitled "CSS complete guide" published in September 2005 by IDG - I am facing the stage that requires observation and comparison of the possible ways of using a rule. I need to better understand the examples used in the manual and have been made available at the Web tab http://www.apogeonline.com/libri/88-503-2369-7 and, where served, I thought of making any of my so I assumed the meantime the pages of this site is the base from the author and editor.

I did not ask permission in writing to the Editor and we have not needed because my copy is directed solely to learn first to my advantage, then I do not know whether the benefit of other visitors to any of my pages. I explained my purpose and I feel obliged to inform that the possession of the manual, and his careful reading, is essential for anyone with my own needs or curiosity to look into.

Then I come across often in instructions to which I have no preparation. In these cases, circles refer to when the deepening have more experience. The observation is enhanced by practice. So the pages I "copy" and that they are intended for my actions, should be taken with caution, the same must be in any study dealing with an attitude of non-renunciation of the use of the self, a concept that very complex.

Today May 21, 2006 I public this page when my exercise of "copying" is not yet finished. It will end soon, perhaps in a complex Hypertext and then gradually the study will comment on each page, now resulting only "copied", just like on this page.

If everything will be useful to my curiosity will mean that I have made mine.

To index of examples.

Upgrade to 4 March 2010. My speed to intervene in the pages that I copied, now is measured in terms of years, but unless this slowness, nothing has changed in my initial project. And here my contribution in the sense that in this page I realized the union of two pages, over the 3.2 and under page of today in version of 3 March 2010. Here I have not finished. Now I have to intervene in the former of second part, to publish "in light" the proposal of CSS.

With this result I achieved what I intended, namely:

Not affect the first part which remains valid sample instructions CSS;

Introducing the second part, the immediate vision of CSS statements that characterize the first part;

Bypass the second part from areas prepared for business listings into a standard that I'm trying to achieve.

Now I have to intervene here to publish the proposal in light of CSS that determines the first part, and education <pre> that allows the following entries:

html {
margin:0;
padding: 0;
background: #fff;
}
body {
font-size : 100%;
font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
text-align: justify;
}
body {
margin:10px;
padding: 1em;
background: #eee;
color:#000;
border: 1px solid;
}
pre {
overflow : auto;
background : #FFFFFF;
padding : 0.444em;
border : 1px solid #999999;
}
div#heading ul.navbar {
border-top : 1px solid #dcdde0;
border-bottom : 1px solid #dcdde0;
text-align : center;
margin : 0 0 2em 0;
padding : 0.5em;
}
div#heading ul.navbar span {
display : none;
}
div#heading ul.navbar a:link, div#heading ul.navbar a:visited {
color : #365d95;
text-decoration : none;
margin-right : 1em;
margin-left : 1em;
}
div#heading ul.navbar a:hover, div#heading ul.navbar a:active {
color : #1f2126;
text-decoration : underline;
margin-right : 1em;
margin-left : 1em;
}
div#heading ul.navbar li {
display : inline;
}

To develop stands just mentioned, in this version of the banners lead to page not found.

The project involves the existence of a site that contains a single point of reference for each banner, no matter what site it is . . .

. . . I cannot describe now a project that I have not already achieved.

We'll talk about at "things done"!
