Visual Editing (WYSIWYG) is best for New pages and Beginners and Code Editing is best for Existing pages or if you already have a basic knowledge of HTML. Saving your page after it has been altered by WYSIWYG is permanent and can not be reversed. Be Careful when going back and forth between modes and only Save the page you are happy with after you have reviewed your HTML in the Code Editor.
WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) n. characteristic of applications in which a document appears on-screen exactly as it will appear when printed (Computers).

I read between the tip of the day the message below. I would ask what is meant in practice with WYSIWYG in the development of a web page. In particular I would ask how to access to the function WYSIWYG. I use each day the software CoffeeCup HTML Editor Version 2007, but I do not understand how I could use WYSIWYG. Perhaps the message leads to an erroneous conclusion for how is it written? If there is, can you submit the choice menu?

WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get, and basically is an acronym for designing your pages visually. If you open a new page and switch to the Visual Editor tab, you can insert images, text, and use other functions without knowledge of HTML. Let us know if you have any other questions.

In fact, if you click on Visual Editor, appears the following window:










In the window you read: When switching between Editor your code may be modified to optimaze drag and drop features.
When you click "Save & Continue" you will be asked to save your current page.
Yhis will protect your work and backup what you have already done.
Choices:
Do not show me this again.
Cancel.
Save & Continue.

The process of acquisition of the image, that I'm creating thanks to the function Stamp and to the programme Microsoft Paint, it is clear in the image that follows:

























I am getting from my folder called "aaaaa" the image "wysiwgd.jpg"; I put provisionally the Alt Text; I choose the alignment "absmiddle"; "0" for border; so no Board; I choose to include the size of the image, and I give up to create a link with the image. With the choice "cool" I arrive to the image that follows:

























And in this position, I choose to save the file in the folder "Images" of my site.
